Holy Family School
Holy Family Catholic School, accredited by Accredited by the state of Mississippi, AdvancedEd, and the National Catholic Education Association, serves children in grades Pre-K3 through 8 from rural areas of northern Mississippi. We are dedicated to the spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical potential of each student. Technology instruction begins in kindergarten and continues through eighth grade. Our accelerated math and reading programs, in addition to regular classroom instruction, encourage achievement and allow students to progress according to their own capabilities.
Our faculty and staff strive for excellence and provide a positive, nurturing, caring, Catholic educational environment. This environment teaches a love for learning and encourages students to become knowledgeable, disciplined, creative, contributing individuals. All students participate in Catholic religion classes. The entire student body and staff participates in daily prayer and weekly Mass celebration.
Nearly 99% of Holy Family students qualify for free or reduced lunch in the Federal School Lunch Program. An Extended Day program provides supervised care before and after school for children of working parents. A nourishing breakfast and after school snack, enrichment programs, supervised play, study time and assistance from staff is available for students from 6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
